ACLU Announces Winners of 2005 Youth Activist Scholarship (4/12/2005)
NEW YORK -- The American Civil Liberties Union today announced the winners of its Youth Activist Scholarship for 2005. Ten high school seniors from around the country were selected to receive $4,000 each to honor their outstanding work to protect civil liberties, especially the rights of young people.

Indiana State Bar Honors ICLU Legal Director with Public Service Award (10/14/2004)
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Civil Liberties Union announced today that ICLU Legal Director Ken Falk has been selected as this year's winner of the Indiana State Bar Association's Appellate Practice Section's public service award, named after the section's late chair David Hamacher. The award "recognizes high moral character and ethical standards, service to the community, and peacemaking qualities."

Jeffrey Gamso Named Legal Director of ACLU of Ohio (6/2/2004)
CLEVELAND - Toledo defense attorney Jeffrey Gamso has been named Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio, the ACLU announced today. Gamso, previously an ACLU of Ohio volunteer attorney, assumed leadership of the agency's statewide legal department and litigation docket on June 1st.
